	I understand that it’s difficult to achieve economy of scale re accessories. I bought the control tower and two grandstands in resin 2y ago, but I think cheaper plastic versions (as in the past) would’ve been better in demand. Nevertheless, re (new) track pieces I don’t by that argument. For me as a lone racer it would be far more exciting with reintroduction of chicanes (e.g. Goodwood) and humpback bridge(s) than going digital. As a matter of fact, I believe more potential buyers would be able to settle for the same piece of track than for a specific car where I reckon there’ll always be difference of opinions. Therefore, I welcome the reintroduction of the short chicane that I hope will sell well (I'll by two just to support the cause)!

	Hi,
</p>

<p>
	Saw the new BTCC Volvo 850 estate, wondered if there are any plans for the Alfa Romeo 155. Pretty much dominated BTCC in 1994 and saw both them and the Volvo in action at Thruxton that year.

	Next year its 25 years since Englands only world rally champion won the championship.

<p>
	Maybe a car could be done to celebrate that, Like with the Mcrae subaru?

<p>

<p>
	Richard was my favourite driver as a child and a tragic victim of cancer only 34 years old.

<p>
	A much underrated driver but he took the fight to to the best of them Mcrae, Makkinen, Gronholm, Sianz, etc. And won.

<p>
	I think he deserves more recognition than he's ever gotten.

	I would love to have a Mazda MX5 Eunos in Scalextric.  I used to own one with a body kit.  Mechanically it went for miles with out any problems, just the rust got the better of it in the end.  I know that Pendle do a kit version.  I would love to have one with a body kit on it just like our original car.

	Possibly the greatest early Holden racecar? Colin Bond's 1969 HT Monaro, and they look great in race livery or stock colours (with or without the racing stripes) in all models HK, HT and HG.
</p>

<p>
	Contemporary to the XW and XY Falcons although the earlier XR and XT GTs that raced against the HK Monaro wouldn't take much to recreate from XW/XY shell?
</p>

<p>
	The HK Monaro took 1st 2nd and 3rd at Bathurst 1968!  We'd probably need 10 different colour/spec combos for everyone in the family here!  And they're probably more desirable/collectible than the Toranas that are already being produced by Scalextric.
</p>

<p>
	Also:
</p>

<p>
	-A Valiant Charger E49 would complete the set of first generation Aussie supercars!
</p>

<p>
	-While I'm asking, what about an American Graffiti set?  '55 Chev and '32 Ford coupe? (Also featured a '58 Chev Impala, '57 Thunderbird)
</p>

<p>
	-Is it too hard to recreate vintage, say, 1929-1940 Ford style vehicles?
</p>

<p>
	-Smokey and the Bandit - Firebird and cop car!
</p>

<p>
	-Christine!  Unrestored, restored, vandalised and burnt would be a great set of 4 to collect.  Already make a Camaro and Charger that feature in the movie.
</p>

<p>
	-First generation Toyota Celicas and early Nissan Skylines and Datsuns?
</p>

<p>
	-We love our Series One Landrover, maybe some Morris Minors to add to the nostalgia?  Most body styles are the same from the B-pillar forward so could get lots of iterations just changing the back half!?
</p>

<p>
	It must be really hard to decide what to make when there's so much great material to pick from.  Hardest part of taking the kids to choose their next car is deciding what to leave behind!
</p>

<p>
	But there are a stack of votes for first gen Monaros here!
</p>
