I thought I'd start a new thread to give our favourite manufacturer some ideas of our future cars wish list. This has probably been covered before but ah well. Here goes with some of my ideas

Knight Rider KITT. (Scalextric released this many many years ago but it is begging for a retool with flashing red strobe)

The new Ford GT

Any new prototypes would be appreciated. Every other manufacturer has done the Audi R18 but no one has done a Porsche or a Nissan or any other recent prototype.

Personally I'd love to see an Aston Martin DB11 in my collection

Toyota's, Fords, Mini's Land Rovers............. What is not to like?

The late great Russel Brookes sierra cosworth we see👌. He rallied a Texaco sapphire in the 90s chased mcrea in the.rs legacy.  Hoping for Tony Ponds rover vittess or Ken Woods.

Saw the new BTCC Volvo 850 estate, wondered if there are any plans for the Alfa Romeo 155. Pretty much dominated BTCC in 1994 and saw both them and the Volvo in action at Thruxton that year.

Maybe a car could be done to celebrate that, Like with the Mcrae subaru? 

Richard was my favourite driver as a child and a tragic victim of cancer only 34 years old.

A much underrated driver but he took the fight to to the best of them Mcrae, Makkinen, Gronholm, Sianz, etc. And won.

I think he deserves more recognition than he's ever gotten. 

They'd tie in nicely with the other Goodwood cars already produced.

Contemporary to the XW and XY Falcons although the earlier XR and XT GTs that raced against the HK Monaro wouldn't take much to recreate from XW/XY shell?  

The HK Monaro took 1st 2nd and 3rd at Bathurst 1968!  We'd probably need 10 different colour/spec combos for everyone in the family here!  And they're probably more desirable/collectible than the Toranas that are already being produced by Scalextric.

Also:

-A Valiant Charger E49 would complete the set of first generation Aussie supercars!

-While I'm asking, what about an American Graffiti set?  '55 Chev and '32 Ford coupe? (Also featured a '58 Chev Impala, '57 Thunderbird)

-Is it too hard to recreate vintage, say, 1929-1940 Ford style vehicles?  

-Smokey and the Bandit - Firebird and cop car!

-Christine!  Unrestored, restored, vandalised and burnt would be a great set of 4 to collect.  Already make a Camaro and Charger that feature in the movie.

-First generation Toyota Celicas and early Nissan Skylines and Datsuns?

-We love our Series One Landrover, maybe some Morris Minors to add to the nostalgia?  Most body styles are the same from the B-pillar forward so could get lots of iterations just changing the back half!?

It must be really hard to decide what to make when there's so much great material to pick from.  Hardest part of taking the kids to choose their next car is deciding what to leave behind!  

But there are a stack of votes for first gen Monaros here!

To make an s type most of the tooling from the mk2 should be transferable.

The mk2 and S type look almost identical except for the bigger boot and different back lights on the s type.

We are crying out for the vauxhall chevette hsr in the Castrol or AC Delco colours.  😀 😀

How about the Hillman Imp, Lotus Sunbeam or the Opal Kaddett.

We have to get the Opal Ascona/Manta 400.  😀

This just leaves the Toyota celia GT

AND .... TOYOTA CORROLA GT RWD .. 😀

The Hornby gorup already produce these models in other formats so surely some one can easly get the required permissions.
