As none of the aircraft in 1/72 scale for which I've put in a wish have materialised, I thought I might as well add a few more... So, in no particular order, to complete my RAF Warmwell WW2 project, new moulds of the following would be lovely:

	Anson Mk1

	Whirlwind Mk1

	Hurricane Mk4

My list of aircraft that flew from RAF Warmwell also includes Overstrand, Seal, Hind, Harrow, Miles Martinet and Miles Master....but I can't see any of them being mainstream enough, so I'll just stick to the first three!

As of Sunday 31st March 2025 the RAFs pumas will be retired. For the past few days they have been flying three around the UK under the call sign 'thankyou', I have seen them (thew flew over my house) and it does seem very sad after 54 years of service they are finally going. But is is still unsure as to what will replace them. After this I hope airfix will release a puma to commemorate this sad occasion

Okay so I know this is more Humbrol but...

I've had a wish for a number of years. I love my Humbrol workstation. I've had one ever since they were first released and my wife got me one as a present - and even though I now have a desk it's been in constant use ever since, even when I used to take it to work to do some modelling in my car during lunch breaks.

However, since they changed to these stupid dropper bottles, the wholes that are for the old paint pots are now too big and shallow, and won't hold the dropper bottles steady. What would be really cool if Humbrol were to produce some drop in adaptors, that would fit into the existing pot holders and give some support to the dropper bottles - but still be removable for those of use that still use the odd tinlet.

If that can't be done then how about a full re-design - I'd certainly buy another.

There's a triple fried egg sandwich in it for you all if you do it.

	Cheers!

This is something that is virtually non existent these days but could you provide all new releases of aircraft with a stand? This was a permanent fixture from my childhood and I miss it

I know most new kits are designed to be displayed with open canopy's and landing gear etc but sometimes it's good to have a few on a stand, some aircraft look better in flight. For that matter aircrew as well. This is often an aftermarket job unless the kit is a 30 year old re-relase but why not provide all options? You already release a kit with several versions available from one model so why not allow for wheels up and in flight?

Over the years there have been many 1/72 kits of the earlier B-17 variants that served in the WWII European theatre of operations. These have been confined to the B-17F, with USAAF 8th Airforce markings, and only one B-17E in 8th Airforce markings, from Frog many years ago.

Now that Airfix have a modern B-17G kit in the range would it now be a great idea to bring out a backdated B-17E/F version with USAAF 8th Airforce markings, and tell the story of the earlier combat record of these first in to combat B-17's?

The timing of this now would also follow on from the fact that the AppleTV's mini series 'Masters Of The Air' is such a big hit and talking point at the moment and modellers are keen to make something that's current and of general interest to everyone.

	what do you think Airfix?

	The answer is YES!

Patrick & I have just had a meeting with the Management, and something we brought up was the Wishlist items. The guys at Airfix confirmed that they regularly read the proposed items, not only here, but also on other Social Media and private e-mails to the Company. Their policy is not to openly respond to such appeals, as they might be used by other manufacturers in strategy and marketing decisions. However, they have given Patrick & I permission to respond on their behalf for suggestions that have reached fruition.

As an example - they have listened to the appeal for a new tool Handley Page Hampden, and while a new tool is not imminent (2024) it was decided to re-issue the old tool as a stop-gap. A new tool was neither confirmed or denied, but they acknowledge the desire for this aircraft.

So, although they may not respond "in person", they are listening.

As a kit builder for 50+ years I can remember the multitude of non military kits Airfix has offered to keen modellers over those years. Although I have made many military, for historic value, kits I have become increasingly weary and less interested; mainly due to developing troubles and conflicts around the World, to the point where military subjects have little interest.

Yes, I know that the military genre is, by far, the most popular subject, but I do long for something else for those of us, for various reasons, who want to put our skills to something else. I remember, as a youngster, all those motor car kits produced in the late sixties and seventies, in particular, together with the historical figures like Oliver Cromwell, The Black Prince and Henry the Eighth, etc. It brought back good memories of childhood building the more resent re-releas of Henry "8th," the hover craft....and the Bond Bug is great. If memory serves I can remember other car kits too; like the mini, Reliant Regal and many others from Austin, Roots Group to name but a few. I have a moon landing craft in my kit stash that will be built in the near future.

By all means cary on with your bread and butter military kits, but there is also a World full of interesting subjects to choose from too. I recall a company releasing a model of a Massey Ferguson tractor at some point in time too. Now that's an idea! Tractors, lorries, tug boats, space, historic vehicles like traction Engines, motorcycles, cruise ships; in fact a whole plethora of wonderful subjects! The list is endless.....

So, come on Airfix, there must be tens of thousands of keen modellers, who are all yearning for something other than military kits.

	Hello

I thought it might be good idea to steal special hobbies thunder and release a new 1.72 Westland Whirlwind fighter/fighter bomber, with perhaps d-day decals before their one comes out. You'd make a lot of money.

The biggest gap in the market is simple and obvious, at the moment I have every single allied bomber in 1.72 scale (plus plenty of Luftwaffe and Italian planes), from all sorts of companies. I sold my Liberator because your new one is so much better.

I understand that many model enthusiasts don't build planes with crew inside. I don't know why, unless perhaps people feel that doing so makes their models more akin to toys. I am a few months off forty, my name is Richard I build model planes...

Anyway, I have many, many, many aircraft that need filling with crew. 1.72 scale, I think that many other people would also like to do the same, especially kids (big or small). Look at the range of figures you have and how many realistically don't sell, notwithstanding, paras, RAF groundcrew etc.

You make scale model aeroplanes, yet you don't make a box of either different fighter pilots (either all RAF, Luftwaffe, USA, Allied, Axis, a mix etc) or indeed just bomber crews, generic bog standard bomber crews that fit. At the moment I buy all of mine off somebody who prints a very large variety in all scales and sells them on the internet, but they are a tiny bit too big for your planes.

Work it out. Crew for planes. I'm quite happy to have a standard RAF heavy bomber crew pack and buy several to make them work for me. You don't even need to have separate appendages, we'd just cut and glue to fit.

I realise this isn't cool, but I can promise you there is a massive market for it.

	Please listen

The upcoming announcement of the 2026 range has got me thinking about putting pen to paper on something I would like to see.

NEW - I would love to see a new kit of the Handley Page Halifax. I know I am not alone, I recall building the original kit in the 1970s and in my excitement I managed to get some 'kleenex' tissue stuck in the paint. Ugh. A Halifax to the same standard as the recent WW2 RAF Bombers would be very much appreciated

NEW - How about a 1/48th scale DeHavilland Comet Racer. or the Supermarine S6b. This era of racing planes would be a welcome changes from military war planes. Although military modelling is the backbone of the model kit hobby, i would be happy to see some fresh ideas and non military subjects.

NEW/ UPDATE - I hope/request that any future release of the 'new' Lysander aircraft includes an update of 'the spy' (wearing an obercoat and carrying a suitcase) who was seen on the box climbing aboard the plane under the cover of darkness. And then you actually got a figure included in the kit! This was a great BONUS and i belive including thsi figure would be well recieved. Honestly I am realy inly interested in a new release if it includes .the spy'.

A new version of the Lancaster with Grandslam bomb and bomb-bay

Vintage Classic - The SRN4 Hovercraft. A log overdue vintage classic. Something I would like to see as a bonus is optional parts to allow you to disregard the smooth clear roof panel and replace it the necessary parts to build the Hovercarft as a fully detailed model. (I was going to attempt this many yaers ago, thinking that all that was needed was to paint over the clear pasrt, but when I assessed it more fully I realsied how much extar work would be neeed. A re-release of this with model the two options for the roof would be great.

Vintage Classic - The Human Skeleton. A re-release in that bone coloured plastic that the original came in would be fab. And with the original stand to hang it up.

Vintage Classic - Short Stirling if only for the bomb trolley that was included in the kit.

Vintage Classic - I'd love to see some of the Historical figures make a return; Henry VIII would be most welcome.

I have wanting to build this one for ages, and all the 'second-hand' kits are over priced and you can never be sure that all the parts are there (been bitten before!) and that the decals are in good condition. So how about it Airfix?

Anybody else out there hoping that Airfix will tool up a Lynx wildcat.

Desperately want one to add to my growing collection ( 200+) of 1/48 scale rnas/fleet air arm aircraft.

Too complicated to scratch build or convert.

	Please Airfix
